Waste Management
Waste Management collects residential trash in Cherokee every Friday morning. Citizens are encouraged to have polycarts placed near the road before 6:30AM so their residence is not missed. If you would like additional polycarts, a dumpster, or 30 yard roll-off, please call City Hall at 596-3052 to make appropriate arrangements.
Wast Management does not collect trash on the following holidays:
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If your regular scheduled trash collection day is disrupted by one of the above holidays, City Hall will coordinate with Waste Management and advertise when your trash will be rescheduled to be collected.
